Harvest Festival 2019
This Harvest, we dressed in bright colours to support the theme ‘Brighten up for Harvest’. We collected donations for dressing in our own bright clothes and the money gathered was sent to support CAFOD’s work, aiming to ensure children all around the world have clean water, food to eat and an education.
Children from across school led an assembly about the importance of working together to share what we have and support others in need.
Some children delivered Harvest produce to our parish soup kitchen at St. Paul’s following our collection and service. Food parcels were also given out to families in our community in need of support.

Advent Reflection Day 2018
Advent Reflection Day was a great opportunity for children and staff to reflect deeply on the season of Advent and think about how to prepare for the celebration of Jesus’ birth at Christmas. Frances Daw (School Chaplain) led the children in activities and Liturgy.
Praying for Peace Day
On October 18th 2018, the whole school took part in praying the Rosary for World Peace. It was hoped that 1 million children around the world would join their prayers together on this very special day. We prayed to Our Lady and heard the story about a young girl called Nousseira Habib whose life was saved after her friends prayed to Mary to save her.
Harvest Festival 2018
The whole school celebrated Harvest Festival by dressing up in our brightest clothes and bringing in money to send to CAFOD. The children also donated tinned and fresh food and this was taken to the local soup kitchen to help those in need in our local area.
Our Lady of Lourdes Launch Day
On October 16th 2018, all the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Primary and Secondary Catholic schools came together at the Newark Showground to launch our new Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, Our Lady of Lourdes. Year 4 represented the school and found out all about Our Lady of Lourdes. They also enjoyed Mass which was celebrated by Bishop Patrick. The children loved seeing their friends from other schools and the Year 7 children from Trinity who left our school last year.
