Sainsbury’s School Games Award
We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Sainsbury’s School Games Gold Award which is the government recognised kitemark for excellence in PE and competitive school sport. Out of 33 schools in Nottingham who achieved the award, St Mary’s was one of only five schools that achieved the Gold Mark.
"This is tremendous achievement by our schools and is a reflection of the outstanding provision and participation in PE and school sport that is on offer to young people in Nottingham." (Nick Robb – School Sport Nottingham) |

They finished the day in 5th place.

CLP Event – Harvey Hadden July 2016
This very popular event took place on a rainy day in July at Harvey Hadden, where spirits remained high throughout the day. The 36 children who took part represented the school extremely well, many of whom returned to school with medals. During the first half of the day, children took part in a series of fun, ‘It’s a Knockout’ style activities and the afternoon was when the elite athletes took to the track and competed as individuals.
