Archbishop Cranmer C of E Primary School

Our local link school, Archbishop Cranmer, came to visit us at St Mary’s.

We shared art work we created with artist Trish Evans through the Mundi Project.

We also took them to St Mary’s Church, where Father David explained some of the

similarities and differences between our Catholic beliefs and the Church of England

beliefs.

Afterwards, we shared lunch and showed them around our local area -it’s very different to their village which only has one, mobile shop!

We were also lucky to spend the day together at Sherwood Forest. We played
games and made new friends. We walked through the forest to the Major Oak
where we took part in some shared activities with mixed teams from both schools.
After this, we created symbols to represent the friendship between our schools,
using items found in nature.
