Congratulations to the children who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time last term. We wish the children all the very best, especially over the next few weeks, as they prepare for their First Holy Communion which will take place on four different Sundays:
Now the weather is changing, most of our P.E. sessions will be taking place outside. We would therefore like to remind you that our school P.E. kit for outside is as follows:
Blue jogging /tracksuit bottoms/shorts
On 18th June at 2:30pm Yrs. 3/4/5 would like to showcase some of the tunes they have been learning on their recorders/clarinets and trumpets throughout the year. You are more than welcome to come and watch them share their achievements this year.
Over this half term all classes will focus on the role the Holy Spirit plays in our lives through the themes of Pentecost, Reconciliation and Universal Church (World). The children will also spend one week studying Sikhism.
Over the last few weeks, Year 6 have been revising hard for their SATs which begin on 11th May. These children have worked extremely hard all year so we are confident they will achieve well. Year 2 children are also preparing for their SATs which will start at the beginning of June. We try to ensure that these young children are not too aware of the tests, so their work this term will be the usual enriched curriculum.
