The children are working hard on their Nativity plays and Carol Service. We look forward to you joining us for these special celebrations
The Christmas dinner for the children and staff will be on Wednesday 16th December. If your child normally brings sandwiches and would like a Christmas dinner, please let Mrs Carnell know by Wednesday 9th December. Unfortunately, it may not be possible to have a Christmas dinner if you do not order before the deadline. Children who normally have a school dinner do not need to order.
Next week children will have the opportunity to discuss what bullying means and strategies to use if they are in situations that make them feel uncomfortable. It is important that children feel happy and safe in all situations both in and outside school.
The theme this year is ‘Make a Noise about Bullying’ and one of the aims of this week is to empower children to make a noise about bullying whether it is happening to them, or someone else, face to face or online.
Fruit is available for KS2 pupils at morning play at a cost of 20p per piece of fruit. It would be helpful if pupils could bring in the correct money.
The weather is becoming a little cooler so children will need navy joggers and a sweat shirt as PE sessions will often take place outside. Also many of our younger children are unable to remove their earrings which have to be removed during PE for health and safety reasons. I ask you please not to send children with earrings on PE day. Children are only allowed to wear stud earrings to school.
