Fruit is available for KS2 pupils at morning play at a cost of 20p per piece of fruit. It would be helpful if pupils could bring in the correct money.
We are very proud to announce that we have just been awarded the ‘Health and Wellbeing Improvement Award in the priority area of Healthy Lifestyles’. Catherine Edwards, Nottingham City Healthy Schools Officer, complemented the school on, ‘the impressive range of physical activity groups and clubs that are available in alongside the PE curriculum and the School Council’s involvement in our Healthy Lunchbox Policy’. I am especially grateful to Mrs North, Mrs Hodgkinson and Miss Gubas for their hard work and outstanding provision in these areas of school life.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support with our healthy lunchboxes. If you are unsure about whether a food item is allowed, please check with our school policy which can be found on our website. Each Friday, children are allowed a treat in their lunch box. If we are off school on a Friday due to an Inset day or holiday, the Thursday of that week will be our treat day instead.
Fruit tuckshop is still available daily for juniors at a cost of 20p. It would be very helpful if children could bring in the correct change.
Fruit at playtime in KS2 continues to prove very popular. The cost is 20p per piece of fruit which is extremely good value. Please could your child bring the exact amount of money for the fruit as we don’t always have change.
