The 35 children from Yrs 4 and 5 returned tired but very happy from their Kingswood adventure! Apart from a little rain on Wednesday, the weather remained sunny and dry. The two clear favourite activities were The Leap of Faith and Jacob’s Ladder which the children said were `challenging but great fun`.
Thirty children from Years 4 & 5 embark on their adventure to Kingswood on Wednesday 18th May. This trip is a perfect blend of adventure and fun with challenging options like abseiling and raft-building. We are hoping that the weather will remain sunny and dry. We have organised a special day out at Lakeside Arts on Thursday 19th May for the children remaining from these two classes.
Children in Yrs3/4/5 have all returned thoroughly tired but happy from the residentials in Kingswood and Newstead Abbey.
At the Kingswood Adventure Centre Year 4 and Year 5 experienced a perfect blend of adventurous and problem solving activities such as zip-wire, archery, fencing and ‘high all aboard’ activity.
