On 12th October, our choir sang at the Trinity Music Festival joining other catholic schools from across the city. Our children gave an energetic and enthusiastic performance, demonstrating great confidence in performing to such a large audience.
The Year 5 pupils who attended the Music Camp at Ilam Hall had a wonderful time. They made friends with children from other schools and were involved in a range of indoor and outdoor music activities, team games and walks.
A group of our Year 5 children will be going to Ilam Hall today for a two day music camp where they will be involved in a range of indoor and outdoor musical activities, team games and walks. I am sure they will enjoy this residential as much as other pupils have done in previous years.
Mrs Hayes would like to say well done to all the Year 5 children who attended the two day Music Camp, at Ilam Hall; they were a credit to our school. They took part in a range of indoor and outdoor musical activities, team games and walks. They had a fantastic time and especially enjoyed making a monster band and the ‘Night Walk’ where they heard a phantom trumpeter!
On 18th June at 2:30pm Yrs. 3/4/5 would like to showcase some of the tunes they have been learning throughout the year on their recorders/clarinets and trumpets. You are very welcome to come and watch them share their achievements this year.

The Local Area Band is a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn and play alongside pupils from other schools. The Christmas in the City Concert at the Royal Concert Hall on Wednesday evening was a fantastic occasion for these children to showcase their talent. Well done!
