Attendance Congratulations

Picture
On 5th June, Nick Lee, Acting Head of Nottingham School Improvement, came into school to congratulate the children on their fantastic attendance.  Later that day, he sent me (Mrs Kelly) the following note, which is very complementary of the children and school.

“I wanted to thank you, your staff and especially your delightful pupils for making me so welcome on my visit today.  It was a real tonic to visit such an inspiring school, so full of energy, fun and learning.  Anyone I ever talk to about St Mary's always sings its praises and it is apparent why from the minute you enter the front door.  Obviously, the purpose today was to congratulate the pupils for their fantastic attendance but I was able to come away with so much more besides to share with my colleagues and the Councillors.

Please say a particular thank you to Señorita North (both of them!) and the rest of Year 2 for the very impressive Spanish sketch - I spent half term in Mallorca and they all put my Spanish to shame!”

A Letter to the Evening Post

Picture
Whilst year 5 and 6 were out for the day studying the river Trent, they used public transport to get there.

This was a letter sent by a member of the public to the Nottingham Evening Post praising their behaviour.

WELL DONE EVERYBODY!
