​Support Services and Groups in and Around Nottingham for Children With a Disability


Nottingham Disabled Children’s Team carry out assessments of children and young people between 0-19 years who have a permanent and substantial disability, whose welfare, health or development are likely to be impaired without the provision of specialist short breaks, support services, adaptations or equipment.  The Disabled Children’s Team is an integrated service which includes Social Work, Occupational Therapy and Family Support Workers with specialist knowledge in the area of childhood disability.

SCOPE exists to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.  They provide support, information and advice to more than a quarter of a million disabled people and their families every year.
