Year 3 PE

 Our Year 2 Work

Climbing Sessions

Year 2 have been very lucky this term as they have had 4 weekly climbing sessions at the Climbing Centre with 4 trained instructors. They have learnt to climb wearing harnesses, traverse without harnesses and abseil back down walls again.

They have improved so much they are now able to climb walls with tricky overhangs and ones with very few footholds. It has been an amazing four weeks and the children have loved every second of it! It has made their legs and arms ache quite a lot though!

Infant Agility Festival

On Thursday March 15th, Year 2 went to The Lee Westwood Sports Hall at the University to take part in an athletics festival with Year 2 classes from schools around the city. They had a great afternoon and were all fantastic team players.
