Y5 Design and Technology

Our Y3 Work

Mosaic Tiles

As part of our History work about the Romans in Britain we looked at mosaic work from Roman times and today. We all designed and made our own tile and contributed to some larger, more modern mosaics.
Take a look at our amazing work and displays.

Cookery

What a great time we all had making vegetable soup. We learned different techniques for cutting vegetables
But the best part was the tasting at the end!

Our Year 2 Work...

Making and Evaluating Sandwiches

Monday December 14th 2015

This morning the children brought in the bread and fillings needed to make the healthy sandwiches they had designed.

They all then constructed their sandwiches and tasted them.

They were asked to evaluate the taste of the fillings and the bread and the appearance of the sandwich on their plate.
