Our Year 2 Work

Infant Agility Competition 2016

On Tuesday January 26th, Year 2 travelled to the Lee Westwood Sports Hall in Clifton, where they took part in a sports festival alongside teams of Year 2 children from all over Nottingham City.

The children had a wonderful and exciting morning, being led in all different events by Sports Leaders who were students from the University.

They took part with great enthusiasm and were all given certificates for taking part.

Infant Sports Festival

On Wednesday January 20th, Year 2 took part in an Infant Sports Festival in our school hall.

They were put into teams of 5 to represent countries of the world competing in the Olympics.

The teams competed in 6 different sporting challenges, led by the Year 5 and 6 Sports Leaders.

The winning team was Russia, followed by China in silver position and Great Britain in bronze.

It was a fun but tiring afternoon!
