Our Mission Statement

“Walk hand in hand with God, loving him, loving each other and loving ourselves, doing our best with the gifts he gave us to make the world a richer place.”

A Message from Mrs Bell – St. Mary’s Headteacher

Thank you for visiting the St. Mary’s Catholic Academy website.  I hope you find the information you need.
We are a Catholic school, rooted firmly in the gospel values of love and respect. Our children are at the heart of everything we do as we help them to develop their relationship with Jesus.  Children are encouraged…

“To walk hand in hand with God, loving him, loving each other and loving ourselves, doing our best with the gifts he gave us
to make the world a richer place.”
Through the support of our skilled and professional teaching team, we want our children to learn and flourish in an environment where they are inspired to rise to challenges, build upon successes and learn from mistakes. We strive to make the world a richer place by promoting high standards of behaviour and learning, as we encourage each child to make significant improvement in their learning during their time with us.

Our high standards of teaching and learning, within a rich and stimulating environment,  create a strong foundation on which future achievements will be built. Our exciting and creative curriculum encourages our children to become independent learners.
If you would like to find out more about our friendly and welcoming school or would like to arrange a visit, please contact the school office on 0115 9151799 or email: admin@smca.nottingham.sch.uk We look forward to meeting you soon.
