Chaplaincy

Chaplaincy

Here at St Mary’s, we know that our faith is active and alive.  As young people, living and growing in faith begins with us. We don’t just believe—we live it, breathe it, and take pride in leading it. We take ownership of our faith journey and find joy in inspiring others to walk alongside us as we “…walk hand in hand with God…”

We strive to live by example—sharing our faith, encouraging others, and helping our school community grow stronger together.

School chaplains

Introducing our school chaplains…

Maria Williams: My Name is Maria and I am new to Chaplaincy and feel blessed to be one of the two chaplains in the Catherine McAuley Hub for the Our Lady of Lourdes Trust. I am married with one daughter, and I bring with me a background in education and project management, alongside my ongoing service as a Catechist in my parish. I also have the privilege of serving as Chair of Governors at another school within the Trust. I am very proud to be a chaplain, and I look forward to building on this role, walking alongside young people and helping them to grow and develop in their faith.

Tim Edwards: I’m Tim and I’ve very blessed to be one of the Chaplains in the Catherine McAuley Hub. I am very keen to pray and sing with all the wonderful pupils across our primary schools and secondary, and look forward to getting to know everyone that little better!

I’m always happy to have a chat about anything, and would love you to introduce me to a new hobby; mine mostly revolve around music, but am also very interested in Theology, Warhammer, cooking, and learning new skills.
